Five arrested during police operation

Following an operation early yesterday morning, five persons were arrested for cybercrime and financial offences. The joint operation, which involved personnel from the Major Organised Crime and AntiCorruption Agency, Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime, and Financial Investigation Division, was conducted early this morning in the Corporate Area, St Catherine, and sections of western Jamaica.

The operation, which targeted suspected scammers and other individuals involved in cybercrime and financial offences, resulted in the arrest of five persons and the seizure of digital and forensic devices believed to be used in the conduct of these activities.
