Stein tells his story on new album

-

Dancehall artiste Stein continues to promote his album My Story: The Next Chapter, which was released earlier this year.

The album, consisting of 22 tracks, includes songs such as Pretty Clean, My Future, Love Potion, and Dollar Sign.

Describing the meaning behind the album’s name, Stein explained, “Coming up, especially in the music business, I have had many stories to tell. So right now, it’s just the next chapter of the story.”

The album has been getting good reviews and spins, with over 6,000 plays per month on the streaming site Spotify.

A music video for Love Potion was released in October and has made its way to various local and international television stations.

Growing up, Stein lived between Portland and Kingston. Music always played an important role in his life, and he held true to the dream of one day becoming a household name.

Currently based in Sweden, Stein occasionally alters his hardcore dancehall sound to include a mix of pop or Afrobeat.

Living in Europe is a bonus for the artiste, as there is a large dancehall following in countries such as Italy and Germany.

“My music is going places. I have done quite a few things and paid my dues. It hasn’t reached the level I want as yet but it’s going there, slowly but surely,” he said.

My Story: The Next Chapter can be found on YouTube, iTunes, and Amazon, and is available on over 600 digital outlets worldwide.
