After packing the Pigeon Island Park in St Lucia last week, dancehall artiste Aidonia is set to make another major appearance with the 4th Genna team in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI).

The Yeah Yeah artiste has teamed up with Jamaica-based promotions group Portmore Society to host Image.

This is part of the collaboration with Turks and Caicos event planners, Abuka Entertainment and Platinum Promotions, to have Aidonia perform for the first time in the TCI.

Portmore Society’s Romaine ‘Luigi’ Brown told THE STAR, “The team is ready and all the preparations have been made. We want to make this one of the biggest nights in Turks and Caicos’ history.”

Image was staged last August where Aidonia also performed to a jam-packed Fort Clarence Beach.

While Aidonia headlines the line-up, the entertainment package promises a night filled with performances as the well-anticipated event plans to make its mark in the region with a highenergy, performance-packed show for the TCI locals.

“The people of Turks and Caicos are looking forward to a great event and so are we. With Portmore Society teaming up with promoters from the TCI and a leading dancehall group like 4th Generation, there is no doubt it will take the islands to a new heights of euphoria,” Brown said.

The promoters and members of 4th Genna will leave Jamaica today for TCI. The event will be held in Providenciales, one of the small islands in the TCI archipelago, on Friday.

The entertainment will be provided by Turks and Caicos’ disc jockeys DJ Vernom and Judgement Sound, featuring DJ Colors, DJ Shakes of 88 Jamz Fm and DJ Winny Pooh.

Although the crime rate continues to spiral in St James, students of Montego Bay High School are focused on positivity.

Two students recently won the ‘Success Story’ competition organised by reggae singer Nesbeth and Foota Hype Music.

The ‘Success Story’ competition was inspired by Nesbeth’s song of the same name released earlier this year. Produced on Foota Hype’s Motherland rhythm, the track tells a tale reminiscent of Nesbeth’s formative years, underscoring his trials and triumphs.

Last week, Nesbeth made a surprise visit to the school where he handed over a cheque for J$50,000 to the
