Humble yourself and LET GOD WORK

- GEORGE HENRY STAR Writer

Many persons are convinced that regardless of the tests and challenges they encounter, the Lord will make a way for them as long as they remain faithful and humble.

Christine McLean-Davy, who is a trained teacher, testified that after leaving college, she was not as fortunate to acquire a job like many of her colleagues.

“But because of my determination I did not sit at home. I went and I did any job that I could. The first job I received was in an electronic store where they repair televisions. The store exposed me to various schools and principals, which provided me with connections that allowed me to be able to market myself and ask for jobs,” she said.

She accessed another job at the Kendal Camp in the parish, but she didn’t like it.

“I remember one day while climbing up that steep hill to the Kendal Camp, I spoke to God and told Him that he knew that that job was not the one I really wanted,” she recalled.

McLean-Davy, who has been saved for over 16 years, shared that after about three weeks, she was at work when she got a call from someone who told her that there was a shortterm job available at a high school. thanks.

“Here am I today in a job which God provided for me, and has paved the way for me. So, I am saying that in everything we need to give God thanks,” she said. “When we are doing things we just have to give it our all, because the Lord is doing things which we do not see into. Sometimes He is doing things behind the scenes.” Feedback: pehenrya@ hotmail.com
