No man can satisfy me

-

Dear Pastor, I have been a prostitute since I was 16 years old. I am now 27. Even so, I am still not getting the satisfaction I need from a man.

These men’s packages range from tiny to monstrous, but the satisfaction is just not there. I still can’t complain too much because for what I am doing, I get a good pay.

I don’t want to get married or to have any children because that would ruin my ‘treasure pot’, which is a vital part of my career.

I know you might be the last person to answer these questions, but I am going to ask anyway. How do I fulfil my needs? Should I have children to fulfil my desperate need for satisfaction?

T.M. Dear T.M., I will answer your question by telling you a story. Many years ago I had a conversation with a young girl. She was in her mid-teens.

She started to talk to me without my prompting. She said she was attending school and she was trying to support herself. She was an extremely attractive young woman.

She told me that her parents did not support her, so she had to fend for herself. She said she went to spend a weekend with some of her female friends.

One night they were all going to ‘beat the street’ and encouraged her to join them. She agreed and went.

That evening she ‘sold herself’ for the first time, made pretty good money, and she went back and she continued to do so.

SUPPORT HERSELF

She used the money that she earned by ‘selling’ to support herself, buy books and she paid all her bills while attending school.

I ignorantly asked the girl the following question: “How do you have sex with people you don’t love?” Without missing a beat, she responded, “I do not have sex for love, I have sex for money.”

I have never forgotten that. Nor have I seen that girl again.

I say that because you have indicated that you are a prostitute but you cannot have satisfaction. How can you have satisfaction if you are not having sex for pleasure? You are in business.

When you have sex with these men, it is not because of love, it is for the money. If you want sexual satisfaction, you should quit doing what you are doing and find yourself a good man and marry him.

In that way, your lifestyle would be changed and life would be different.

You don’t have that intention right now to quit, because your ‘treasure pot’ would be ruined. You are making big money, but remember, you will not remain as beautiful as you are all your life.

Your asset is not going to attract men all the time. Have a good look at your life again. Is it worth it? Have a talk with the Lord and ask Him to change you.

Many girls are indeed selling, but they are saying that they are not making as much as before because ‘time hard’.

In fact, what men are paying prostitutes now is very small; prostitutes have to work harder to buy hard dough bread and pay bills.

If you want true satisfaction, you have to turn to God. Christ is the answer to your problem. I urge you, therefore, to turn over your life to Him and He would give you the kind of spiritual satisfaction He offered to the woman at Jacob’s well. Read St John chapter 4. Pastor
