Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone snubbed Golden Globes after parties in favour of a chilled night in.
The Hollywood stars recorded a tongue-in-cheek video posted on Jennifer’s Facebook page on Monday night, in which La La Land star Emma quizzed her pal over why they decided not to go out after the annual awards ceremony, which was held in Beverly Hills on Sunday, halfway through having their make-up done.
When Emma asked, “What happened tonight?”, Jennifer replied: “Well, you told me that you wanted me to be your date for the after parties so I got us tickets to some after parties and I booked a car and I was halfway through glam when you told me that you didn’t want to go. You just wanted to go over to my house, so I sent my glam team home and now this is what I look like.”
Emma had earlier walked the red carpet with tennis legend Billie Jean King, who she portrayed in the movie Battle of the Sexes, for which she was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, which she lost to Lady Bird star Saoirse Ronan.
It comes after Emma revealed she became friends with the 27year-old beauty because they had the same “stalker”.
