E-Dee releases new video

-

Dancehall artiste Everton ‘E-Dee’ Dennis has released a brand new music video for his new single ‘Island Energy’.

The single is from his forthcoming album. Shot on location at the Hollywood Carnival held recently in Hollywood, California, the video captures the ‘island energy’ of carnival dancers from islands and countries around the world.

The famed Hollywood Boulevard was shut down for this massive parade.

The artiste was chosen by the CEO of Ariesun Inc as their brand ambassador for the new Island Energy Drink. E-Dee appeared in commercials for the product.

He burst on to the music scene in 2007 when his collaboration with Irie Love, Revolution, hit the top 10 in Jamaica, and was nominated for an EME (Excellence in Music Entertainment) award for best collaboration.

At the same time, his feature on Ms Triniti’s hit Bounce Along was also in the top 10 on the island.

This also landed on the Top 20 Billboard R&B/hip-hop single sales charts.

In 2010, E-Dee reached the charts again with Rightful Place. His many releases include collaborations Ghetto Yutes Rise featuring IOctane and Where I Belong alongside Glen Washington.

A year later, he starred in Out The Gate, a feature film loosely based on his life. The film was released to theatres in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, and Jamaica.

E-Dee’s songs have been sought after by Hollywood, being heard in feature films including How She Move, and television shows including Blue Bloods.

Fastrising dancehall artiste Jameik King was on sparking form over the recent Christmas holiday as he delivered impressive performances at a number of major events. “The holidays were very hectic. I had a lot of fun performing for my fans all over the island. I got a good response at all the events, especially at (GT Taylor’s) Christmas
