Turbulence cries for ‘So Long’

Reggae artiste Turbulence has returned to the entertainment scene with ‘So Long’, a song he believes is a masterpiece.

“As the name suggests, the song is about dealing with that devastating life-altering loss of a loved one. There are many, if not infinite, shapes that a loss can take on us. As for I, Rasta never want to sing about this mourning reality, but the impressions they make upon us are just as varied. As for me, I express my feelings in the art of music ’cause that’s what I do best, real-life issues,” said Turbulence.

Turbulence, whose given name is Sheldon Campbell, has released a number of albums, including Notorious, Join Us and Hail The King, which was featured in an episode of the BBC documentary series Storyville. He is also known for hit songs such as Name and Numbers, X Girlfriend and Blood Dem Out, which was also featured on a highly profiled freestyle ski movie called Show and Prove.

The artiste is currently on a high from his latest effort, which is gaining momentum quickly on local airwaves and in the dancehall. The single is produced by Kashka ‘Bobo’ Campbell and Fabian Benquealo Whitfield for Ghettolynxx Records on the Heaven Sent rhythm.

So Long is now officially released and is available for purchase on all digital platforms. It is distributed by Johnny Wonder 21st.
