Many J’can women are stupid
Dear Pastor, I read your feature in The STAR, and it baffles me as to why some Jamaican women must display such asinine conduct. I have seen many letters in which men express dismay at being sexually pursued by women when they are not ready to have sex. You would think that in this century, our women would be more interested in seizing the opportunities available to them.
Sadly, in some scenarios, this is not the case. For example, recently, there was a letter in which the writer, a 22-year-old female, complained that the 19-year-old father of her child was committing a dereliction of his paternal duties. Clearly she is stupid, because at her age, she should either be working or the holder of a first degree. In addition, she was naive to start a relationship with an inexperienced teenager and stupid to expect him to actual- ly be responsible.
However, nothing is more disconcerting than to read about grown women saying that they can’t stop cheating Dear J.S., You are much too hard on these women. Not everyone has grown up in a stable home and has received the kind of guidance that you were privileged to have. So, while I understand what you are saying, I ask you to desist from calling these young women stupid, worthless, on their husbands with their disrespectful boyfriends. It is no wonder that we have so many delinquent children with no fathers around, because many of our women and asinine.
Some of these young ladies should indeed be in school or already have their first degree, but many are not in a position to pay for university courses. So, what a privileged person like you should do is encourage them to get an education and help them to get to are disgusting and have no standards. I really wonder why some of our men continue to burden themselves with these worthless women.

There are those who should have done better, but have been careless. Others wanted to do better, but did not get the help they needed. Therefore, instead of cursing them, let us do our best in helping them to raise their standard of living.
