10 guns seized as a result of Crime Stop tips

Crime Stop Jamaica says 10 illegal firearms and 58 rounds of ammunition were taken off the streets as a result of tips received from Jamaicans during the first two months of the year.

According to Crime Stop, seven persons were arrested in connection with some of these illegal firearms.

The anti-crime movement said one of the greatest successes was information that led to the arrest and charge of Omar Collymore, who was wanted in connection with the murder of his wife and a taxi man which took place on January 2.

A total of 20 arrests have been made through tips received which were for a variety of crimes – shooting with intent, lotto scamming, housebreaking, murder, possession of illegal firearm to name a few. major roadways in the Corporate Area will lead to significant traffic management.

“There is going to be a major change and difference in the city, in respect of how we move in Three Miles. We are going to be having a flyover at Three Miles,” he said.

“This is a material that we have here in Jamaica, so having uncovered the pozzolan, we are manufacturing everything that we need, and now we’re able to export cement and cement related materials,” he said.
