She said that she was not getting much money from the work she was doing, and it was unable to meet her weekly needs as a young woman. But Morris decided that she was going to move out of her then state.

“I decided to attend the Spalding High School Evening Institute to sit some CXC examinations. I was successful in five subjects, and then I decided to get enrolled at the Catholic College in Mandeville to pursue studies in primary teacher education. I studied part-time for my diploma. I then went and did my degree in primary education, and I am currently pursuing my master’s in primary education,” said Morris.

The mother of Olympic gold medallist Omar McLeod further testified that God has been extremely good to her. She said that He has seen her move from nothing to something as

I will never give up on my God because He will never give up on me,” testified Morris.
