Up-and-coming artiste Avanzce has teamed up with Cornastone Entertainment to release his latest single, Choppa. The single is meant to be an inspiration to listeners and the artiste is hoping that the track will help to motivate the youth to strive for success.

“I just want people to have the drive to get up each morning and to do things to better themselves,” he said. “Life is not easy, but do your best no matter what your job description is.”

The artiste said music is about educating the masses and believes the song has some valuable lessons for listeners.

“I want listeners to value honesty, humanity and kindness over vanity, greed and selfishness. In the record, I raise the point of how people tend to treat you different when you have acquired some money, yet they treat you less than a person when you cannot offer them anything,” he explained. “Many of us don’t realise that the value of somebody is truly measured by how they deal with you when you have nothing to offer.”

Avanzce also noted that without credible and strong content, artistes cannot have longevity. He named Bob Marley and Peter Tosh among the acts whose music still live on due to content.
