All about sex this summer

It’s going to be a ‘sex-y’ summer, according to artiste and selector Tony Matterhorn.

Admitting that he has always advocated for intimacy and sex, Matterhorn says this summer, he is all about bringing out the lover in people and helping them to spice up their bedrooms.

The artiste has since released a song, 47 F**k, to jump-start his summer campaign.

“Matterhorn is all about sex. I haven’t done a sex song in a while, so I just decided it was the time for it,” he said. “Me just think say when you a do sex song, you must do it exciting like a movie. Yuh affi give more description. Das why wid all Dutty Whine, me did say, ‘Go inna di water, go inna di sea, go inna di bushes and go inna di tree.’ It has you thinking of the actual sex.”

He said that summer is a time for relaxing and that he cannot think of a better way to unwind than with sex.

“Summer is sex. People come from foreign countries to our island not fi go view nuh trees or no birds and no bees, dem come fi relax and unwind. Das why dem go a resorts and lie down and eat some food and go back to them dwelling place and do dem thing,” he said. “Me just say, why not part weh the panties dis summer and just count off 47 stab or show yuh woman 47 different sexual gesture? A just so di song come about.”

Matterhorn was one of the hottest dancehall acts at one point, with songs such as Me Back and Siddung Pan It ruling the genre.

But the entertainer took a break and began to focus on being a selector.

“I didn’t do any songs for the last couple of years. Me just do clashes and dances and regular shows and thing, so me just really start recording back as of this year,” he said. “January me really say make me pick up back the whip again and catch a balance pan di two side – the artiste side and the selector side. Me a do the music back now, and me have some big records fi drop.”
