Alexia Peart is a new person in Christ

- GEORGE HENRY

The Lord has a way of showing up for persons in their greatest time of need, and Alexia Peart of the Living Water Community Church at Four Paths in Clarendon has testified to that. Peart, who got baptised one week before Good Friday in 2017, has shared that God has been extremely good to her in many ways, and she has had no regrets serving Him.

“I have seen myself changing a lot because I have decided to do what the Lord has called me to do. He has even provided a job for me recently,” testified Peart.

The job is at a large company in the Corporate Area.

Peart pointed out that she did not call the company seeking the job, did not apply for it, and did not submit any documents for it, but God has favoured her regardless.

“Before I could reach Red Hills Road on my way back home, I was called and told that I got the job. I then said to myself, ‘I did not have the qualifications for this job.’ I went there with nothing, and I was not even prepared for that job. I then said, ‘Who could it be but God?’” testified Peart.

After the unexpected blessing, Peart said she was truly grateful to God and vowed to never turn her back on her Maker.

“Trust me, I will not turn back because the road out there is sticky. When you are out there and not in touch with God, you feel lost, you feel empty, and there is nothing out there for you. Since I got baptised, I feel so happy. I can sleep comfortably at nights. I was unable to sleep at nights and had to drink something in order to sleep, but now, I feel like a brand new person,” said Peart.

She wants those who have not yet surrendered to God to stop wasting time and do so before it is too late so that He can work miracles in their lives. “Do not wait a little to see if you are sure. Now is the moment. Now is the time to go to the Lord,” recommended Peart, who disclosed that at one point in her life before being saved, she was abused by family members. She said the abuse led her to parties. However, Peart stopped after she contracted a mystery illness. “I then started to attend parties again, but I was not enjoying anything. The drinks and so forth could not help me. I was the odd person in the group of us who were attending. So, I stopped again, and now, I am with the Lord. He has been extremely good to me,” said Peart.
