Kastick drums up Tessanne, Honorebel collaboration

-

Renowned drummer and producer Paul Kastick has generously offered music lovers a reason to be excited with the release of the highly anticipated track, ‘Let Me Love You’.

The offering features reggae artiste Honorebel and season five winner of The Voice Tessanne Chin.

The song was produced under Kastick’s Groove Galore Muzik label.

Although he has known Honorebel for many years, this is the first time they have worked on a project together.

“I’ve had Tessane’s vocals for some time now. I sent it off to him, and he loved it, and the rest is history,” Kastick explained.

He is no stranger to Tessanne’s creative process as he was a co-producer on her In Between Worlds album, along with Rudy Valentino.

The producer is proud of this track and the attention to detail that went into making it. Being a musician himself with an ear for instrumental sounds, he made an effort to integrate that into the track.

“The track is hardcore. I put a lot of drums in it because I am a drummer. You cannot miss the guitar as well. Overall, it is a good vibe,” he said.

As a member of the Big Mountain band for the past 20 years, Kastick has toured with great acts such as Maxi Priest, Diana King, Ky-Mani Marley, Shaggy and Benji Myers and performed at major reggae festivals across the world in countries such as Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

The band has released six albums between 2000 and 2016, all of which Kastick had a hand in producing.

Kastick has quite a few projects in the pipeline, including a tour with Priest and King.

Groove Galore Muzik will also be releasing a single from Beres Hammond and Big Mountain.
