Ryan Miller’s goal in added time led the RJRGLEANER Communications Group to a 1-0 win against Wisynco in the Western Sports/Kingston and St Andrew Business House Football Association League Division One match at the Bell-Chung Oval on Sunday.

Miller who scored the allimportant goal from the penalty spot said the team is stronger and confident that they can win the title.

“It was a tough game against a team that we beat 6-0 last season. They came and played physical. We were not impressive, but it was a good result. We got off to a good start,” Miller told STAR Sports after the game.

The RJRGLEANER team reached the semi-final stage in the last two seasons and decided to strengthen with some experienced footballers who have played in the Red Stripe Premier League.

“It is a great feeling to get a win in the first game. We will have a positive mind-set going forward. We got in some great players, some who have played in the Premier League and they can help us to win the title this season. The players will have to work hard as some of our opponents also have great players. We can’t relax, it is a work in progress,” the former national youth and St George’s College Manning Cup star pointed out.

“We have experienced players who want to do well. I have full confidence in the squad assembled. We went to back-to-back semi-finals in the last two seasons, so our goal is to win the title this season. We have the team to win.” Miller who represent the University of the West Indies in the just concluded Red Stripe Premier League season, shared.
