Since his split from his former management team in 2015, dancehall artiste Maestro Don has been attacking music as an independent artiste. Although he had been finding relative success on his own, the artiste figured it was time to get himself new management and struck a deal with Gyptian’s Right Direction record label.

As he is hoping to move his career in the right direction, the artiste dubbed the partnership a no-brainer and urges music lovers to watch out as he aims to take his rightful place among dancehall’s top acts.

“Me did independent, and people did always a talk. Me tired a di talking. Gyptian came along, and him just a do. First time him see me, him say, ‘Yute, yah go buss, enuh, with or without me’, and me buss. Now, he’s going to take my career to the new level,” he said.

Him militant, me militant, and we understand each other, and most importantly, we understand say a work we a work.”
