same location where it,” she said.

Grant said she and her father went back outside just in time to see the thieves driving away her Toyota Axio.

After intense navigating with police control and response teams at King Alarm, the car was retrieved in another section of Portmore. But the robbers were nowhere in sight.

She collected her vehicle at the Greater Portmore Police I parked Station and had to pay $30,000 for the wrecker fee.

PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE

“To prevent the incident from happening again, I decided to park it at another location because there was a driveway there,” she said.

Grant told THE STAR that on Friday, August 3, when she got up for work, the tracker told her that her car was in Kingston and not in the driveway where she had left it.

“I was shocked, so once again I alerted the police and King Alarm and they found the vehicle on Waltham Park Avenue. When my phone tracker had shown that it was in Kingston, I was wondering if my friend had taken it for a drive without my permission but when I went to her home, they were there but the car wasn’t,” she said.

A frustrated Grant said after fixing the damages caused by the culprits, she intends to sell the car.

“I don’t think I am being targeted by anyone, but it’s really because of the type of vehicle that I own. I am going to sell it and whenever I purchase another car, I will also be stepping up on the security systems,” she said.
