Laden shares struggles in ‘Growing Up’

-

Dancehall and reggae artiste Laden continues to climb the musical ladder with his single, ‘Growing Up’.

The Louie V Music-produced track is a part of the Conquest rhythm, which made its way to all major streaming sites on July 27, through Zojak Worldwide.

The single, which picked up a momentum on social media before it was officially released, speaks of the struggles Laden faced while growing up and how he overcame them.

“This single serves as a motivational track for ghetto youths and those who grew up poor. When I was growing up, my mother had it rough, but she always stayed positive and now her teachings have been manifested and I am on my way to infinite success. This single will teach the children that giving up is not an option,” said Laden. The single garnered near 10,000 views within 24 hours of being released across social media, along with hundreds of positive comments. “I learnt a lot while growing up. The strength that is required to stay on the right path and not venture into violence as a means of survival is one of the biggest challenges we face as ghetto youths. This single is very close to me because God did a lot for me, and I have to teach the children that once they keep Him in the mix, they will make it out just as I did,” said Laden, who has new tracks like Ghetto Story, On The Go and The Struggle Is Real. The artiste added that the moment he heard the rhythm he knew he had to put a heartfelt track on it, and he is sure that Growing Up is a definite hit.
