Ras I-Maric pleased with career
Dancehall artiste Ras I-Maric is exceptionally pleased with the development of his career.
The hard-working deejay, who is also a certified FIFA referee, recently completed a successful tour of Europe which included appearances in Belgium and Germany.
“I’ve been working on my career for a good while now, and all the work that I’ve been doing has begun to pay off. The response I received in Europe was amazing; the people gave me a very warm reception over there. I performed at the Africa Festival in Germany, the Windrush Festival in England, and an event called Funky Fridays in Kortrijk, Belgium,” said the artiste.
Ras I-Maric recently released two new singles, Who the Cap Fits on the Poor People Production imprint and Jordan, featuring Boom Boom and Real Askel, which was co-produced by Poor People Production and 1 Camp Records; both songs were released in July.
“The promotion of these two new songs is my main focus right now. I’m also working on some new recordings, and I’m planning my birthday bash which will take place later this year in Pain Land.”
Ras I-Maric is currently in Jamaica for a promotional run.
“I flew in from the UK; since my arrival, I’ve been very busy in the streets promoting my new singles. I’ve also done some media interviews, and I did a performance in Balaclava, St Elizabeth, at an event called the Big Reunion at the Roger Clarke High School,” said Ras I-Maric.
