Alkaline set for BRT performance
Caribbean party-tour festival Beach Road Trip (BRT) Weekend is set to touch down in Cabillo Beach in Los Angeles, California, this weekend.
The headliners include one of dancehall’s hottest stars, Alkaline. The Vendetta Boss is slated to perform this evening at the Maui V Wowi party.
Organisers of BRT Weekend told THE STAR that patrons are already excited to see the artiste in action.
BRT’s Hans Mullings said that he is expecting a record turnout this year as the party-tour series returns to California for a third time.
He said that VIP tickets and cabanas are completely sold out and that he expects this year’s show to surpass previous years.
There was a warm-up event yesterday. Tomorrow, Bunji Garlin is expected to perform at the Xtreme Wet N’ Wild party.
The BRT Glow Eruption will also be held during the weekend.
The Jouvert Breakfast Party and the BRT All White Grand Finale will close the weekend on Sunday.
There will also be after-parties held every night at various venues across LA.
BRT Weekend attracts thousands of partygoers in various destinations with its four-day excursion.
The weekend encompasses themed events and exciting Caribbean entertainment with complimentary food and drinks.
Since its inception seven years ago, BRT Weekend has evolved from an annual event in the Florida Keys to a major event held in multiple locations within the US and islands in the Caribbean, making it the first Caribbean party tour.
To date, the tour has showcased entertainers such as Popcaan, Charly Black, and Machel Montano. Locations have included West Palm, the Dominican Republic, Atlantic City, and most recently, the Turks and Caicos Islands.
