Chan Dizzy returns to dancehall with new EP

-

Recording artiste Chan Dizzy has been making his resurgence on the dancehall scene in recent times. The artiste made waves on the local and international music scene back in 2010 with the hit song, ‘Hello Badmind’. He has been relatively quiet on the entertainment scene for some years, and he is now hoping to solidify his return with the release of an EP. The entertainer said that he has been working hard on putting the project together and says it will be something the fans will definitely be pleased about. Although the EP is only expected to have five tracks, Chan Dizzy plans to tackle a number of issues on the compilation. He says he is hoping to showcase the full range of his talent on the project and will be giving some amount of social commentary.

Chan Dizzy said that he and his team are still in the planning phases with the EP and are yet to settle on a title. However, he said that whatever they decide on should reflect the project’s core message.

“I haven’t decided on a name for the EP has yet. Myself and my management team have been looking at several suggestions, including Fireworks,” he said. “But at this stage, nothing is concrete. However, once a consensus is reached, the public will be the first to know. It will be something that fits the EP’s overall message though, so look out for it.”

Executively produced by Sajay Productions, the project is set for release in November.

While Chan Dizzy continues work on the EP, he revealed that he will also be releasing a slew of singles, as he hopes to regain his grip on the local industry. He will also continue to do promotional work for the music video for Careful. The song is his latest single, and according to the artiste, it has been getting steady rotation on the airwaves.

Chan Dizzy also added that he is pleased with the renewed interest from fans across the diaspora.
