Simon Cowell ‘can’t compete’ with co-star
Simon Cowell says he ‘can’t compete’ with Terry Crews despite his recent weight loss.
The America’s Got Talent judge has dropped 20 pounds after overhauling his lifestyle, but he admitted he’s got a long way to go before he could match his fellow panellist or even attempt his signature pecs flex move.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he laughed: “No, I can’t compete with Terry, I mean that’s for sure. My son Eric said to me, [when] Terry was doing the pec thing, he said, ‘Daddy, how come you can’t do the pec thing?’ I said, ‘That’s one I can’t keep up with’. Well, I’ll need a couple of years at least, but I’ll do my best.”
Although the 59-year-old media mogul joked he doesn’t measure up to the Brooklyn 99 hunk, Crews heaped praise on his talent show boss for the work he has put in on his health journey.
He added: “First of all, you gotta give props to how great Simon Cowell looks right now. I’m telling you, that is not easy. It’s a lot of effort, it’s a lot of time. This man is my hero.”
Meanwhile, Cowell’s ex Sinitta Malone, recently admitted she
warned her pal that he was “letting [himself] go” and should put in some effort to “look good”.
She revealed: “[I said] ‘You’re too handsome, you’re too fabulous to let yourself go’. I grabbed him a bit around the love handles and said, I just want you to be happy and I just want you to look good. You need to address this.”
Cowell previously admitted he had ditched meat, dairy, wheat and sugar from his diet in a bid to change his lifestyle after a horror fall last year.
