Ebony Stone on the rise

-

International dancehall artiste Ebony Stone is overwhelmed with the support she has been receiving for her latest single, Weak Back.

“Making your name in the industry is not an easy task. My team and I are still working overtime to bring forth other projects that are entertaining as well as relatable. We carefully analysed the market before this song was released, and after dominating Jamaica, we took our promotion international and it’s working,” said Ebony Stone.

The single was produced by Cornelius Records and distributed by 21st Hapilos.

The song targets the female audience, as it relates to having them express themselves in a fun way saying, “Dem no want no man with no weak back”.

“Weak Back is being well received thus far. It has been creating a buzz on social media and in the streets. Everyone who heard the song says they love that I stepped up and represented for the ladies,” said Ebony Stone.

The artiste is returning to Jamaica to shoot the visuals for the song, which will be shot in her Waterhouse community.

She will be styled by international stylist Laurel DeWitt, who has worked with international acts such as Nicki Minaj, Cardi B and Offset.

“I am very excited that I am doing this video in my home town. The concept and work behind this the video will be worth the wait,” said Ebony Stone.

She is currently working on new projects with international recording labels. She is also gearing up to drop her first EP, which is set to be released later this year.
