HUSSY CHOPS OFF MAN’S HEEL

Aman from Glengoffe, St Catherine, had his right heel chopped off by an enraged spouse after he was accused of sleeping with the man’s partner.

He told THE STAR that the incident happened when he went to collect pears from a woman in his community last week.

“Tuesday mawning she call mi and ask mi if mi nah come fi di something, mi seh yes a coming,” he said. “When mi go fi dem, she gone inna di bathroom gone go bathe. Mi tek out mi phone and put in pon one little table right a di doorway. Mi woulda tek up mi phone and gweh back, but true mi phone lock up now mi seh mi a go siddung outside and wait until she done bathe. All of a sudden mi see the door pull and a har man come outta di house. So mi get frightened now and a wonda a weh him did deh.”

The man said the husband accused him of having an affair with his woman.

“Him come out wid a cutlass and a seh him a go kill mi. Suh mi seh fi wah. Him seh mi deh wid him woman, so mi seh no a something mi come fa,” he said. “Him start lick mi wid a hammer inna mi head. One a di time when him go up wid the hammer and come down, mi kinda sight the hammer, and chuck him off and run.”

JUMPED INTO A GUTTER

He said the man started chasing him, so he jumped into a gutter.

“Him put the cutlass inna him right hand and start run offa me too. Mi did have on slippas, one foot drop off but the other one wouldn’t come off. It slide mi back and mi drop, and by time mi drop, him just chop off mi heel,” he said.

The man said the enraged lover then proceeded to hit him in the face.

“Mi couldn’t go no further so mi just drop down inna wah next gutter, and him jump down deh and start gimme some big lick, all bout,” he said. “Mi think mi dead. Mi haffi all a beg him nuffi kill mi. Him gimme one big one and mi just drop like mi dead, and him nuh gimme no more.”

The Glengoffe police said they are aware of the incident but no report has been filed. The man did not say whether he would be filing charges.
