Govana and producer German hope to keep success story going

-

Collaborating with recording artiste Govana throughout the years has yielded much success for accomplished producer Emanuel Schirmer, more popularly known as ‘German’. The Emudio Records producer and the 4th Genna artistes have to date produced a slew of hits, including Gyal Clown, Better Than That, featuring Jada Kingdom, Gyal Thief and, more recently, Shrimp Patty. Hoping to close out 2019 with a bang, the pair is expected to join forces again on several upcoming projects.

According to German, collaborating with Govana is always a pleasure and he is looking forward to what the partnership has in store. The first song in a series of projects to be released in the next few months is a track called Ole’. The song is expected to be a gritty street narrative that will showcase the hardcore lyricist that is Govana.

“In recent times his music has been very jovial, so he wanted something for the streets to remind the fans, though he has changed his stage name, he is still the very lyrical artiste from the days of Deablo,” he said. “Govana and I have always had good musical chemistry over the years, so collaborating on this new project was a natural vibe.” The video for the track was released last Friday and is already trending on YouTube’s top five list.

In addition to Ole’, German disclosed that some of the songs he’s currently working on for Govana will be included on his upcoming album, Human & Monsters Are Not The Same. The much-anticipated compilation is slated for release in the coming months.

Over the past few years, German’s Emudio Records has been steadily churning out quality productions. He has worked with a number of dancehall acts, including Aidonia, Mavado, Jahmiel, Shenseea, Jada Kingdom, Alkaline, Dexta Daps and Busy Signal.
