Dizzle JA drops sophomore album

-

Dancehall artiste Dizzle JA has officially released his brand new album, ‘Benzion’. Released on November 1, the album was produced by Ermack 300 of La-Fam Entertainment JA, which is his own company.

Featuring 13 tracks, the album can be described as predominantly dancehall, while incorporating trap and reggae sounds.

“The album is a ‘happy’ album with many topics, such as uplifting oneself and enjoyment. Basically, it gives you a vibe to go and be successful while enjoying life at the same time. I think this is something the younger generation can relate to,” he said.

Since its release, the album has enjoyed success on the iTunes Reggae Charts, where it debuted at number 10.

It has also garnered attention from major media networks, as well as fans who have shared their own videos playing their favourite songs.

“I have no huge expectations for this album other than building my catalogue and giving fans worldwide fresh music,” he said. “Once it reaches the masses, I guarantee they’ll like it and keep asking for more projects.”

Singles from the album include Dolly Body, Uprising and Rat Bat, which recently had its music video premiere on VEVO.

Another track on the album, Space Smoke, was released earlier in the year as a promotional single.

Benzion, which means ‘son of Zion’, is Dizzle JA’s second studio album, following his 2017 debut, Dancehall Meets Trap.

Before that, he released the Money

Move mixtape in 2015, which featured acts such as Howie D, Bish Meezy, AG Lissen and Faron.

Keeping the promotion going, the Benzion Tour kicked off in the United States on November 1, starting in West Virginia.

The tour will continue into March 2020 with stops in New York, Connecticut, Los Angeles and Miami.

Benzion is available for purchase and streaming on all major digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Tidal, Pandora and Spotify.
