-

Ayear after winning the British talent show X Factor, singer Dalton Harris returned to that stage to debut his latest single, Cry.

Before the track became available on digital platforms across the globe, the 26-yearold gave a live performance on the very stage he won the 2018 competition.

In a post to his Instagram page hours before his performance, Harris quoted a line from the song before detailing how much it meant to him to finally be releasing the track.

“This song means so much to me and I hope you love it as much as I do. I have been working so hard over this past year to get to this point,” he wrote. “It’s a real full circle moment releasing it after performing on the X Factor stage again. Thank you all for being so patient with this journey.”

HARD WORK

In a separate post, the entertainer also expressed how satisfied he is with where his career is, but he confessed that it did take hard work getting to that place.

“I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting this morning. I’m so grateful for where I am right now, mentally and musically, but it didn’t come without hard work and determination. I can’t believe Cry is finally out for the world to enjoy,” the post read.

Twenty-four hours after its release, the song racked up close to 30,000 views and more than 700 comments.

“Feels like I’ve waiting forever but this is definitely worth it.

I still wasn’t prepared for this mastery,” one of the comments on YouTube read.

“The song is crazy, video wicked, voice spectacular, overall magnificent. We were waiting for this Dalton and you deliver. Bless up yourself,” another read.
