work to be in the senior team and I know I have to work harder to stay there. I have at the academy three years. I played Under-15 and Under-13 but this is my first time training with the senior team and I really give thanks to who made this possible, I really appreciate this opportunity,” he said.

Gaynor was one of three players drafted from the youth team to train with the senior team, but was the only one named to the squad on Sunday, and he thought he kept his composure during his time on the pitch and handle his debut match well.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE

“They (Molynes) caught us a couple of times in the back-line and we could have done better. But I will learn from this experience, so I am looking to play more games before the season is done. But to do that I am going to have to put out the hard work to make sure I am selected again for the 18 (man squad).

But I am a very determine person and anything I want I will go for it and football is my life so I am going to go for it and I am confident I am going to succeed at it,” he stated.

“I was called to the team because of the work rate and effort I put out in training. It (premier league debut) was definitely a wonderful experience. I felt wonderful and great, I felt alive and happy that I was actually able to play on the team,” he said.

Mount Pleasant coach, Paul ‘tegat’ Davis believes Gaynor is a very coachable player with great potential.

“It (debut) was good for him. It was the right time (to put him in), we were leading 3-0 and so he was under no pressure. It can only make him much better. He’s a good player, he works hard and he is very manageable. But he has to come and fit in, he is not going to get any preferential treatment,” Davis concluded.
