Up-and-coming dancehall artiste Tactikal is envisioning great things for his single, Lifestyle. The buzzing song and catchy lyrics, released in January under the Buff Baff Records imprint, is already making inroads on mainstream radio in Jamaica, Canada, US, and the Caribbean.

Tactikal, given name Ossan McKenzie, told THE STAR that it was a foregone conclusion that listeners would gravitate to the track.

“We see the fans start share the artwork and the song … it reach Miami big station 99 JAMZ, ‘til it reach Toronto big station G98.7 FM. We love the reception,” Tactikal said.

The deejay, know for other singles such as Four Way Flasher and Nah Beat No Woman, says based on the trajectory and the response from the public, Lifestyle may very well be his breakout single that will make him dub rich.

Tactikal says he is ready to show the world, and prove to doubters that his time is now.

“Things tek time, but a my time now. As an unsigned artiste, things have been working for me and my team. Mi team solid. We have a synergy and the winning formula. Big up all the radio DJs and street selectors for the strength”, Tactikal told THE STAR.
