Portmore man missing since April 27

It’s been more than a month since family members have seen Shankar Maragh. The 32-year-old has been missing from his home in Portmore, St Catherine, since April 27, and although his family was told that he has been spotted in sections of the Corporate Area, they have not been able to find him.

His father, Dr Rudolph Maragh, said that he is devastated and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating him.

“Myself and other family members are really worried. My son has a mental disorder and needs to be taken to the hospital. He is not the violent type, so if seen, just approach him with respect and get in contact with the police or a family member. He has been gone for over a month now and is alone out there and we are really really worried,” he said.

SPOTTED IN HARBOUR VIEW

Maragh is of a brown complexion. He was last seen wearing dark brown shorts, black shoes, multi-coloured socks.

“He is not used to being by himself out in the streets. We were told that he was spotted in Harbour View, downtown Kingston, Cross Roads, Mountain View Avenue and other places in Kingston. But none of us or the police have been able to locate him. We miss him and we just want him home where he is safe,” Maragh said.
