Brother accused of killing brother
The Manchester police have charged a man in relation to the stabbing death of his brother in Bryan’s Land, Spaldings, last Thursday.
Charged is 24-year-old Condevie Brown, otherwise called ‘Dain’, of the same community.
Reports from the Spaldings police are that about 9:45 p.m., Brown and his brother – 28-year-old recording artiste Damion Petgrave – were among a group of persons at a shop when an altercation developed between them. It is reported that a knife was brought into play and Petgrave was stabbed. He collapsed and died.
Brown was arrested and later charged. His court date is being arranged.
In the meantime, the Manchester police charged Nicholas Logan, 20, a labourer of Bath , Manchester, with attempted robbery and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition last Friday.
Reports from the Mandeville police are that about 4:15 p.m. on June 16, Logan and another man went to an establishment in Johns Hall, Manchester, where they brandished guns and demanded money from a complainant. The complainant was shot and injured.
Following an investigation, Logan was arrested and charged. A court date is to be announced later.
