No sex festival, thanks to COVID

Europe’s largest sex festival has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Aurora Lifestyle Festival will not go ahead, as social-distancing rules made it impossible for organisers.

Hundreds of couples had been set to travel to a secret location, believed to be in Worcestershire, but the team behind the festival did not want to offer a “poor replica” of the event.

Organisers admitted that there was no way they could protect swingers from the virus, but promised that the festival would be “bigger and better” in 2021.

A statement on social media read: “We pride ourselves on providing the best, independent, Lifestyle Festival in the UK, giving our customers an experience to remember.

“We are not prepared to offer you all, an experience that is a poor replica that does not reflect the true essence and standards of Aurora.”
