Reggae singer Eclectic is beaming with pride as he promotes his debut EP Simply Eclectic. The eight-track EP, which features songs such as 123, Breath of Life, So Bless, and Clean Up Yuh Heart, was released on July 17 on the Fly Flawless Records imprint.

“I’ve been working on this project for a long time now, and I’m very happy that it is finally out. I’m confident that it will do well because all the songs carry messages that people from all walks of life can relate to. It is a multigenre EP. It has reggae, dancehall, gospel, and R&B flavoured songs. There’s something for everyone. It’s simply eclectic,” he said.

Eclectic launched the EP with an event at Pleasanton Park in Kingston on July 31. The launch featured live performances from Eclectic and other artistes such as Irie Kreshna, Odinga Creary, and Lady Diva. It was also broadcast on Facebook and Instagram.

“I want to thank everyone who helped to make the launch a success, including my fans, the production team, the members of the media who attended, my colleagues, my friends, and all my supporters. I’m happy that I was able to do the launch and share my music with my fans. Their support means a lot to me,” said Eclectic.

Eclectic released a music video for 123, the lead single from the EP. The video, which was directed by Wayne Benjamin of Fabrikated ProjeX, was also released on July 31.
