FadaRoy gets buzz from new productions
Production label FadaRoy Muzik has a new single titled Yo Qwella, by dancehall artiste iink Line.
The single was released on August 1, and since then, it has been gaining traction and good reviews.
The accompanying music video was released on the artiste’s Vevo page on August 7. The year has been a busy one for the label, with a slew of productions that have been released over the past few months.
The Rose Rice rhythm, which was released in April, is a 10-track project which features artistes such as Gage, Teejay, Shawn Storm, Khago and Lybran.
Originally starting his musical career as an artiste, musician FadaRoy, the label head, began dabbling in production two and a half years ago.
He then officially took his seat at the producer’s table a year ago.
“I’m creative like a mad scientist. When it comes to creating my music, I listen to various genres and put the pieces of the puzzle together,” he said.
Some of his own musical releases include Buss Head and Gang featuring iink Line. He also appeared on Shawn Storm’s 2018 album Aim and Fire on a track called Maggie Squeeze. Crediting Shawn Storm for helping him along this journey, music has always been a part of FadaRoy’s life.

“I bought a sound system and started thinking of all the possibilities. I made all the connections, learned the connections. All the images of what
I wanted to do kept popping up in my head, then everything fell into place and now we’re here,” said FadaRoy.
He said that listeners can expect plenty of new releases from FadaRoy Muzik in the near future, with both local and international artistes.
One of the upcoming projects is a collaboration with American rapper Boosie.
