Ryzin says he did not sell out for fame

-

Dancehall artiste Ryzin has dismissed rumours that he is involved in the occult after some viewers reacted negatively to the video for his song, Game Changer.

In the video, he’s seen partying with scantily clad women while wearing a bullhorn helmet, similar to what was worn by many ancient European warriors, including the Vikings.

“It seems that many people who’ve seen the video think that I’m involved in a cult or something. However, the people who have been saying these things are ignorant. Anyone who watches the video can see it’s all about partying and having fun. There’s nothing cultish or evil about it,” said Ryzin. He continued, “I wore the horn helmet just for fun. When I was a child, people used to call me ‘Madbull’. That was my nickname because I was always running around, bumping into things. Even now, some close friends and relatives still call me Madbull. So, when I was shopping for clothes for the video shoot and saw the horn helmet in a store, I figured it would be hilarious to wear it in the video, so I bought it. That’s the only reason I wore it in the video, there’s nothing else behind it.”

Ryzin said that he has been contacted by several persons, including family members and friend, who claim to have heard rumours that he has sold his soul to achieve fame. “They were very shocked, because everyone who knows me, knows that I don’t love evil. A righteous mi deal wid. Ryzin is a youth who believes in clean livity. God over everything mi sey,” said the artiste.
