The popular web reality series Dancehall Life, which is produced by Downsound Entertainment, kicked off its second season on Sunday, August 29.

The cast includes dancers Keticia ‘TC’ Chatman, Christina ‘Dancing Rebel’ Nelson and Tashlieka ‘Pretty Pretty’ Laird. Josef Bogdanovich, executive producer for the series, promised a few surprises.

“The girls continue to get exposed to different lifestyles and society and they always hilariously enjoying being a fish out of water at times. Episode one for the new season saw the girls heading to Goldeneye for a weekend vacation. This season will carry 12 episodes,” he said. Bogdanovich said the objectives for season one have been achieved.

“We turned the girls into bonafide reality stars, which was our mission. To get endorsed and recognised by a major cosmetic brand is an achievement and solidifies the importance of supporting our Jamaican youth. The response has been awesome and since the premier of season two, the fans have been flocking back to season one with enthusiasm. We welcome all the new and established

Dancehall Life fan base and we look forward to season three,” he said.

He added, “In times like this, we as a company must pivot to remain relevant in an effort to grow our fan base. As producers of Reggae Sumfest and other brands, Downsound Entertainment delights in challenges that force us to rethink on how to survive and thrive as a business.”
