L.Razor graduates from college

-

Dancehall artiste L.Razor is a very happy man now that he has achieved his lifelong goal of attaining a college education.

The Portmore-born entertainer recently graduated from Nassau Community College in New York with an associate degree in liberal arts and science.

“When I graduated from St Jago High School in 2000, I wanted to go to college but my parents couldn’t afford it. Life was very rough for us at the time, but luckily I got an opportunity to migrate to the US. Although I migrated, I had to wait a long time before I could go to college because I had to work very hard to make ends meet,” he said.

“I was finally able to attend college in the spring of 2020 just before the pandemic. I explained my goals to my advisors who advised me to pursue the undergraduate programme in the liberal arts and science. It took a lot of hard work, but I was extremely determined to complete the course and get my degree. Now that I have achieved this milestone, I am feeling very proud,” he added.

Having attained this scholastic achievement, L.Razor is ready to focus on his music career once again.

“I’m happy that I took the time out to go back to school and get my degree. This makes it easier for me to focus on my music career because I know that I am qualified to get a good job if I ever decide to get out of music,” said L.Razor.

The hard-working deejay is currently promoting a new song titled Ok Then, which is the first single from his upcoming EP titled Welcome to L.Razor.

The seven- track project, which is scheduled to be released in July, will feature production work from Jusa Riddims, Kahtion Beats and

Analytics Alz Music.
