Chuck Fenda to host birthday bash

-

On Saturday, June 18, the People’s Ballroom, formerly known as the West Indian Social Club, comes alive as recording artiste Chuck Fenda will be hosting his birthday celebration.

Several artistes like Spanner Banner, Ginjah and Alandon are scheduled to be in attendance. Also to be featured are Massive B Soundsystem, Black Hustler Sound, Metro Media Sound System and Bojangles Muzik.

“This is a special day for me. I just want to spend this moment with my fans, have them come out and just have a wonderful time. I started out as a youth in Connecticut, living there before venturing into Jamaica, so it will be a great time to reconnect with friends, family and fans there and just hold a vibe,” Chuck Fenda said.

Promising an up- close- and -personal experience in a safe and secure environment, the artiste has intentions of making this a recurring event.

“I would love for it to be an annual thing, not just one-off but I want to be able to connect with my fans in different places such as Jamaica, New York and Connecticut,” he said.

June will be a busy month for Chuck Fenda, as he is also on the line-up for the Boston Culture Fest in Massachusetts, as well as the Bring Back The Love Tour in Providence, Rhode Island, on June 19. In addition, he will be on the line-up for the Kansas City Roots 22 Reggae Music and Jerk Fest in July.

On the music side, the artiste has a brand new album on the way, titled Eternal Fire. The

15-track project is expected to officially drop on September 5. The album is produced by Chuck Fenda, Fire Wayne and Echo One Productions.

“The songs on this album will be all about upliftment, getting people to look within themselves and find the greatness that is there. People get caught up in the hype of social media and lose their connection with the Creator, but it’s all an illusion. Hold firm and don’t lose the culture or connection with the supreme being. That’s what I want to get across,” the artiste said.
