City Day in Almaty

On every third Sunday in September, Almaty celebrates

City Day with a large, festive concert and firework display. Throughout September the southern capital of Kazakhstan holds a variety of events dedicated to City Day, the largest of which is the Apple Festival, held in the First President’s Park. These concerts and craft fairs are free to enter and offer you an opportunity to get a feel for the unique environment of this city.
