Of the many fascinating cities in the world, my favourite is definitely San Diego. Not only does this city have a pleasant climate all year round, it also has plenty to offer, from Balboa Park with its wonderful museums and world-famous zoo, to the many beaches in the west and the spectacular mountain hikes to the east. From the Cabrillo National Monument there is an incredible view over the entire city; at La Jolla Cove one can see hundreds of wild seals and sea lions, and further north, below Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, it’s magical to walk along the beach at sunset and see the tall sandstone cliffs lit up by the setting sun. This is truly an amazing city.
