In September, Amsterdam holds a festival of alternative theatre. The

Dutch capital fills with the latest avantgarde performances and experimental theatre. Fringe festivals are now a global phenomenon and the festival in Amsterdam has been held in 40 different locations in the city since 2006. After the shows there are street parties with buffet dinners where you can exchange opinions and chat with members of the audience and actors.
