Oktoberfest in Hannover, Germany

For anyone who couldn’t get tickets for the famous Munich beer festival, all is not lost. The second largest beer festival in Germany is held in Hannover, in the north of the country, and attracts around a million fans of the foamy beverage. At the Hannover Oktoberfest, the Schutzenplaz fairground turns into a beer city, Bavarian-style, with tents full of long tables for drinking beer and other attractions such as traditional food, dancing and fairground rides.
