In its own right, Budapest is considered one of the most beautiful cities of the world. Unlike the popular city of Prague, which is overcrowded with tourists, Budapest is, in my opinion, the jewel of Eastern Europe.
The city is small but very cosy. At its heart is the quay with the street car running along it. The majestic Danube divides the city into two parts: mountainous Buda and flat Pest. Eight bridges are thrown over the beautiful river and you can and should enjoy walking across all of them. After a stroll, drop in to a café on a quay and enjoy a stunning view of the Hungarian Parliament. The indescribable beauty and grandeur of this building has made it one of the city’s most famous landmarks.
