Following numerous requests by passengers, Air Astana’s on-board menu now includes halal dishes. Passengers can order these when purchasing tickets or no later than 24 hours before departure by sending a request to call.centre@airastana.com. The menu depends on the service class, city of departure and duration of the flight. The on-board menu includes 20 kinds of special meals including kosher, vegetarian, specific dietary requirements, etc.

Since last November, mobile boarding passes have been accepted on international flights from Astana and domestic flights from Atyrau. Previously this service had only been available on flights departing from Almaty and on all domestic flights departing from Astana. From November, all Air Astana flights will show a new television version of the on-board safety rules. Actors from the Shadow Theatre took part in the production and used unusual and entertaining ways to present this important information to our passengers.
