Day of Kazakhstan in Delhi

The Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was celebrated in Delhi, the capital of India, on the same day as the 13th anniversary of the launch of the first direct flight between the two countries. Air Astana launched flights from Almaty to Delhi in 2004. Today, Air Astana operates 10 flights between Kazakhstan and India including daily flights between Almaty and Delhi and three weekly frequencies between Delhi and Astana. Air Astana launched its first direct flight between Astana and Delhi on 2 July 2017. Passengers travelling from Delhi have access to convenient connecting flights to the capitals and large cities of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Georgia, Azerbaijan, China and within Kazakhstan.
