Visit the Almaty Information Centre

A new tourist information centre has opened in Almaty. The centre will supply tourist maps, guidebooks, maps of mountain trails, brochures from travel agents and information about forthcoming cultural activities. You will be able to book excursions, buy souvenirs and, most importantly for foreign visitors, buy local SIM cards. Plans are in place to open information kiosks for tourists in all the most popular spots in the city, following the design of those up and running in cities such as Paris, London, Dubai, New York and Barcelona.
