The mysterious, hidden jungles in Cambodia attract travellers from all over the world. French colonisation left numerous bakeries and European architecture. Our trip to Cambodia was my gift to my husband on the occasion of his 30th birthday. We fell in love with the local cuisine and the friendly Cambodians with their smiles and kind eyes. The first two days we walked in the Angkor Wat temple complex, peeped in at the Ta Prohm temple, where an episode of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was shot. On the third day we rented bikes only for $2 and rode around Siem Reap. In the evening it is worth taking a walk down
Pub Street for a relaxed environment, delicious dinner and a massage for $1. Isn’t that a beautiful way to end a day?
