Lunar New Year, China

On 16th February, China enters its longest holiday period, dedicated to the arrival of the Year of the Yellow Dog. The holiday lasts for two weeks, from 16th February till 2nd March. People pile out into the streets in their best clothes, on their way to visit friends and relatives and to welcome in the new year and its symbol.
