Istanbul Tulip Festival, Turkey

Every spring Istanbul holds its popular Tulip Festival, where tulip bulbs are given to everyone free of charge and many then planted by local residents. During the event there are numerous flower exhibitions, markets and concerts by wellknown performers. The main activities take place in the parks of Emirgan and Gulhane as well as in Sultanahment Square.
